Recycled Silver Jewellery Collection for Untouched World

There is a growing awareness of and demand for recycling jewellery - melting down existing pieces to create something new, from something old. At Benjamin Black Goldsmiths, we do a lot of this type of work and encourage our customers to reuse their old gold wherever possible.

Last year, Untouched World contacted our company, Benjamin Black Goldsmiths, to discuss the possibility of creating a unique jewellery range that would be made from recycled silver. It had to complement their lifestyle fashion collections and stay true to their brand values of simplicity, sophistication and sustainability.

Untouched World is the first and only lifestyle fashion company in the world to be recognised by the United Nations for sustainability.

As we already do a lot of remelting and remoulding of existing jewellery, we were excited by the idea. We worked with Untouched World to refine the final designs for a collection, which was officially launched to their customers in December 2016.

The stunning Untouched World women's Kite collection comprises five unique pieces of recycled sterling silver jewellery. The Maori Kite is an emblem of an ideal relationship between people and nature. It links the earth to the sky, and symbolises a soaring freedom of the spirit. This New Zealand made jewellery makes a beautiful gift for a friend or loved one or a treasured souvenir of a trip to Aotearoa.

The Untouched World Kite jewellery collection is available exclusively from Untouched World stores in Auckland, Christchurch, Queenstown and their recently opened pop-up store in Morrison Square, Nelson. Shop online at www.untouchedworld.com
